Finding, Developing & Retaining Employees in the Consulting Engineering Space

Wednesday, Sept. 28 | 8 a.m.-Noon | ACEC Colorado Training Room or Online | 4 PHDs* | $199 (employees of member firms)

Even with the concerns about the direction of the economy overall, most engineering companies are busy and have multiple openings they are struggling to fill.  With many individuals leaving the industry and questions about the supply of new technical professionals, the bottom line for firms is that the lack of needed staff is both impacting their ability to deliver for their clients as well as meet their own growth targets.  The result is also heavy competition for engineering talent and pressure on salaries and benefits.  This workshop will delve into these challenges and discuss how to use practical and creative ideas and engage best practices to ultimately grow, develop and retain your team. The workshop will be followed by a panel of leaders in the consulting engineering space who will share their own experiences and advice.
